„Okos települések” kooperációs workshop Ljubljanában 2017. nov. 29-30-án

Az Európai Bizottság Regionális Főigazgatósága és a Szlovén Jožef Stefan Intézet által koordinált „Okos Városok és Közösségek” közös rendezvénye a 2017. november 29-30-án Ljubljanában megrendezésre kerülő „Okos települések” kooperációs workshop és partnertalálkozó.
 
A smart city koncepció az elmúlt években egyre népszerűbb a nagyvárosok körében, ugyanakkor térségünkben jellemzően inkább kisebb városok találhatók, amelyek eltérő kihívásokkal néznek szembe. A találkozó célja, hogy összehozza a közép- és kelet-európai kisebb városok és közműtársaságok képviselőit, illetve a különböző technikai szállítókat, és segítse őket annak megbeszélésében, hogy a városok igényeit milyen lehetséges megoldások elégíthetik ki.

The smart city concept has in recent years contributed to the emergence of many big cities across Europe. However, the majority of cities/towns are smaller in size and therefore have different issues and challenges. This is particularly true for the regions in central and eastern Europe.
 
With the aim of connecting such cities/towns and  facilitating the exchange of best practices between them, DG REGIO of the European Commission and the Slovenian Smart Cities and Communities (coordinated by Jožef Stefan institute) is organising a "Smart towns" cooperation workshop and matchmaking event on 29-30 November 2017 in Ljubljana to better connect towns of Central and Eastern Europe to the European networks.
 
The event will bring together representatives of Central and Eastern European towns and Utility companies (electricity, telecommunication, public transit, postal services, communal services) with different solution providers (SMEs) and enable them to discuss the possible solutions that would satisfy the needs of their city. The workshop will be followed by a matchmaking event focusing on digital services for citizens.
