Partnerkeresés az URBACT világán kívül

Bár a csatlakozni kívánó városok számára továbbra is az URBACT Partnerkereső Oldal a legfőbb lehetőség, számos olyan városszövetség, városhálózat működik Európában, amelyek adott témában segítséget jelenthetnek a megfelelő várospartnerek megtalálásához.

Mint ismert, a Program Titkársága által működtetett partnerkereső oldal a legfőbb eszköz arra, hogy egy csatlakozni kívánó város közzétegye ötletét, és ezen keresztül vezető partnert vagy csatlakozó partnereket keressen, illetve, hogy válogasson a már közzétett projektjavaslatok között, és így találjon olyan városhálózatot, amelyhez érdemes csatlakoznia.

Emellett azonban a Titkárság javasolja, hogy a csatlakozni kívánó városok vegyék igénybe külföldi kapcsolataikat, vagy akár olyan városszövetségeket, melyeknek esetleg nem tagjai, de amelyek nyitottak az ilyen jellegű megkeresésekre. Az alábbiakban néhány ilyen európai vagy világméretű kezdeményezést sorolunk fel.
